About Foothills Church Academy
Foothills Church Academy is a ministry of the Foothills Church of Christ, located at 14770 Chamy Drive, off Geiger Grade. As a mission of the church, our goal is to provide a combination of academic, life-skill, and scriptural studies that will prepare our students to tackle all the challenges of life.
Our congregation advocates for the pursuit of truth through questioning, studying, discussing and testing our biblical beliefs. We hope that through our example, we can encourage students to seek truth in both biblical and educational fields.
As our students interact with the staff and with one another, the goal is to provide challenging studies in a respectful environment that will teach your child to set high standards and view education as one of life's great blessings.

The Administrator and Lead Teacher at Foothills Church Academy is Samantha Orr. A licensed Nevada teacher who was born and raised in Northern Nevada, Ms. Orr has 28 years of home, private, and public education experience. Using this experience to serve God and her community is an opportunity that she embraces with dedication and joy.
As the mother of four children, Ms. Orr respects the role of parents in the education of their children, and works hard to make sure that your child’s education doesn’t work against the family but helps to build and strengthen it. You know your child better than anyone else, and we look forward to working with you to help them achieve their highest goals!
